CGR provides an opportunity for girls to play youth softball. Our league emphasizes learning the fundamentals of the game while having fun in a recreational, but competitive setting.
Ages - We offer youth softball for girls, ages 5 – 11 years old. Our age divisions include:
6U (Coach Pitch/Tee Ball)
8U (Coach Pitch)
10U (Kid Pitch)
ALL COACHES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK. If you are planning on being a coach we need your first and last name and a good email address.
The AGE CUT OFF DATE is 8/31/2022. Your child’s age on 08/31/2022 is the age used for each division. (For example, if your child is 7 or 8 years old by 08/31/2022 will play in the 8U division.)
FEES: The registration fee is $140.00 for each age group. If you sign up late if we have openings there will be an additional $40.00. If you ask for a refund before your child’s evaluation date, all but $10.00 will be refunded. If you ask for a refund after your child’s evaluation date, then $100 will be refunded.
Please note that the online registration system will automatically default you into the correct age group when you enter your child’s date of birth into the system.
We serve College Grove and surrounding areas. Our players range in ability from beginner to very experienced.
Our practice season begins around the first of March. Games begin around the 3rd week of March.
We never turn any child away for any reason.
We make every effort to make complete teams. To ensure that your child is able to get onto a team, please register as soon as possible. In the event that there are not enough children in an age group to make a full team, you will be given a refund at the earliest possible time.
