College Grove Summer Sandlot
The goal of our Baseball Sandlot program is to provide children skillset development for the upcoming fall baseball season. This is not a competitive program and is designed to be an instructional learning environment while providing kids some summer fun. The first 45 mins to 1 hour of each session will be dedicated to drills/instruction and is followed by a 1 hour scrimmage. Different teams will be formed each session depending on who attends.
- The cost is $85 per child for the program
- We require enough volunteers (coaches, assistants, parents helping run drills or organize groups) in order to make the program beneficial to our participants. If we do not have enough volunteers for a particular age group registration will switch to a waitlist until additional volunteers have signed up. We encourage parents to consider volunteering.
- Volunteers will receive higher waitlist priority
- There is zero cost to join the waitlist. You will only be asked to pay once a spot is available.
- The program is available for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U players pending enough volunteers
- The child will participate/register in the age group that they will be in for Fall 2023.
- Each child will receive a Sandlot t-shirt (no uniforms)
- Two weeknight sessions per age group Monday-Thursdays 6pm - 8pm, June 6th - July 13th
- The exact weeknights for each age group will be announced once we know registration numbers
- It is not required to attend each session as there are no teams
